PUMPKIN CARVING!!!

The FBC Irving College Group celebrated Halloween last night by CARVING PUMPKINS! :)
It was a first time experience for many of the students, and Hannah has promised to toast the insides for the shameful number of people who have never eaten cinnamon and sugar pumpkin seeds.
Pumpkin bread, brownies, and WASSAIL!!!  It was the perfect night for fun.

BUG'S A BOY!!!

The Hatch legacy will live on...WE'RE HAVING A BOY!!!

Baby Bug received his (it's so nice to settle on a pronoun) first present this aftenoon...new shoes from
Aunt Dana! Evidence that it can be fun dressing up little boys too :)

We haven't settled on his name, but we have discussed the appropriate age for Bug's first gun...

This is going to be an adventure :)

BRAD PAISLEY!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASON!
September 10 marked 28 years, and as a special birthday surprise...BRAD PAISLEY in CONCERT!
We started the night with deer steaks, sweet potatoes, asparagus, and cheesecake with our wonderful friends, the Ledbetters :)  Then, we took turns serenading each other with our favorite Brad Paisley songs on the drive to Superpages.  By the end of the night, we were drenched!  But who doesn't like singing in the rain? ;)

COLORADO VACATION!

Originally we had the privilege of bragging about the cool autumn weather we enjoyed in Colorado while Texas suffered its high 90s in early September.  However...since it's taken a month to post a few (ok - more than a few) pictures from our wonderful week with the Hatch family, the lower temperatures have made their way south :)

The whole week was a party!  Bonfires, birthday cake, butterflies, and Beau Jo's!!  We had a great time!
