GOODNIGHT

Our bedtime routine:  Mama, Daddy, and Judah read a few books, pray, have family hugs and kisses, then Judah lays down and chats with Moose, Cow, Moon Bear, Big Turtle, Little Turtle, Giraffe, Horsey, and Baby Horsey (in the dark, sometimes for over half an hour; we're not sure when Judah started sleeping with 8 stuffed animals...it was gradual...he's a pretty social kid) as he drifts off to sleep :)  That being said, the below videos show a little bit of how we wind down for the night... 

 

SPRING TIME!

Although Dallas didn't experience much winter weather to begin with, it is now officially spring :)  We are SO grateful for this gorgeous weather from God...it draws us into His creation every afternoon!

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY, JUDAH!!!

Happy Birthday to the Boy!!!  2 years old.  Wow.  Babycenter.com has officially labeled Judah as a "preschooler" (no longer our wobbling toddler), and he's under the umbrella of the "terrible twos."  We're battling a little bit of defiance, but he remains an extremely affectionate and sweet tempered boy :)  Judah's party was moved from the playground to the church gym, after the weather dipped below 60 for the first time this winter.  With tricycles, balls, hula hoops, and our AMAZING friends, we had a blast :)  The highlight of our afternoon was a surprise visit from Dana, Eric, and Mary!!!  (thanks again :)  y'all have no idea how special that was for all of us!)  And Judah's official birthday wrapped up with waffles (topped with a dollop of whipped cream) on Sunday morning!

SLEEPY BABY

Two days after Hannah's parents left town, Jason's dad drove in for a visit.  After 2 weeks of grandparents, Judah was WORN OUT!  Poor boy fell asleep mid-lunch :)  But the fun had with Honey, Grandpa, and Papa was WELL worth the exhaustion!

Hannah's parents made the long trek from Georgia to help renovate our hall bathroom (finished pics to come).  While Dad and Jason sweat through the demolition, Mom and Hannah spent hours with Judah on the playground!  And with the tub out of commission, our 36 lbs "baby" boy had a few messy baths in the kitchen sink :)  We had a lot of fun, but as always, they had to leave too soon :(

POTTY TRAINING

It's that time!  Our big boy is learning how to use the potty :)  We made a family trip to Target for Judah to choose his first pair of "big boy underwear."  His bottom will soon be sporting Lightning McQueen and Mater undies!

Finally, proof Judah was not raised by a single father - FAMILY PHOTOS!!!  For the past 2 years, Hannah wielded the camera...with thousands of adorable pictures starring Jason and Judah :)  Now, thanks to a VERY talented friend (way to go, Sara Gillespie!), we have beautiful photos of the entire family!
