It was the first Thanksgiving in over 20 years for the Hatches that WASN'T celebrated at the ranch...but even without a 2-story home for her dozens of guests and 100s of acres for her hunters, Grandma Bobbie was the PERFECT host! The family camped out across several Amarillo houses this year, but joined up for a wonderful Thanksgiving meal :) (we even had a "build your own grits" bar!!!).
It was an especially special Thanksgiving for the 3 newest members of the Hatch Family...
Karen Trotter - John's Canadian fiance! ...to be married this coming January :)
Ella Marie - Lily and Dylan's newest sister! ...and Bruce and Cynthia's newest daughter :)
Paisley Ann - our's :)
We spent our afternoons watching the cousins play :) Amarillo weather was WONDERFUL for a little t-ball and the swingset.
"Did the sand taste good? ...And should you lick the sandbox next time?" You learn something new every day :)
If at first you don't succeed...try...try...again. And then settle for any photo with all 6 grandkids and 1 proud Papa :)
