PENGUINS!!!

VALENTINE HATCHES!

Happy Belated Valentines!!!  

Just like so many other holidays, Valentine's Day serves as a reminder...an opportunity to focus.  Yes, be romantic YEAR ROUND...tell and show your spouse, kids, parents, and friends exactly how LOVED they are...but seize the opportunity provided through Valentine's Day to treat them extra special :)    

EARLY SPRING

Several days hit 70 or above in February, so we took advantage and hit the playground :)

BEST FRIENDS

Judah has always been so affectionate, we knew Paisley would steal his heart instantly...but we never thought how infatuated Paisley would become with Judah :)  He is gentle and protective, she is fascinated and awed.  Everything she does is "precious" and everything he does warrants a giant slobbery smile.  They truly love each other, and their interactions are some of the sweetest moments we've experienced as parents :)

MARK and BEV

Mark and Bev may have left the Irving area, but we haven't lost our friends...we've gained a new "get-away" with a beautiful front porch and swing (wonderful craftsmanship, Mark!) and a sandy beach for the kids!  Thanks for letting us crash your new home :)  We LOVE it, and we LOVE ya'll!

MAGIC CARPET

Flipping through February pictures, I noticed a trend...most of our family nights at home are spent on the floor.  Specifically, the big den rug, hedged in by two overstuffed sofas.  It's our magic carpet :)  The kids fly (literally through the air, or on our knees) while we lay for hours, laughing and playing on our magic carpet.  With all the "fluids" that come with babies, I know we can't keep this rug forever...but until it falls apart from steam cleaning, we'll have our favorite picnic spot, and wrestling ring, and camp grounds for tents made of sheets and cardboard boxes :)

5 MONTHS

We're behind...Paisley just had her 6 mo check up :)  When she turns 7 months we'll post her 6 month pics, etc. etc. etc.  Paisley learns so quickly it's hard to remember what she picked up a month ago and what she learned recently.  Bottom line, she's healthy, happy, and huge!

ARGH, MATEY!

Happy Birthday, Joshua!!!  Josh turned 2, and we celebrated pirate style :)
