BABY in the BLUEBONNETS - part v

Fifth annual "Baby in the Bluebonnet" photos!  With Paisley being aggressively camera shy ("Paisley, say 'cheese!'" ... "NO!") and Judah still battling the "staged smile" ("Judah, say 'cheese!'" ...(eyes squinted, molars bared, hardest "cheese face" you've ever seen)) - we worked hard to get a few shots.  77 pictures later, and we collected several favorites :)
Unbelievable beauty...dense, FRAGRANT, vibrant wildflowers, covering our great state :)  Our Creator did it again.  Simplistic, timeless beauty.

FBCI COLLEGE CAMP OUT

Whoo hoo!  College camping trip!  AWESOME turn out...72 crazy students, willing to brave the cold for GREAT friends and fellowship :)  AND some amazing cast iron peach cobbler (THANK YOU, SITTIG FAMILY!).
The highlight for us:  Judah jumping into the 55 degree water, soaking his only pair of clothes.  He had a good 10 minutes of fun before the cold registered, and spent the remaining trip in Jason's shorts (cinched tight with dental floss).

MARCH in REVIEW

PAPA HATCH!!!  PAPA HATCH!!!  PAPA HATCH!!!
Our greatest news of March...John's Canadian residency was finalized and for the 1st time IN 16 MONTHS we were able to hug his neck!  Paisley was a tiny 2 month old the last time she saw her Papa.  Judah wasn't even 3.  And just when we thought it couldn't get any better, Grandma Bobbie came for a visit, too!!!  We partied, played, and flew kites :)  (We sure missed Karen, but we're already counting the days until we can visit y'all in Canada!)

And another noteworthy incident...Hannah's 1st black eye :)  Paisley took a flying leap onto the back of my head while Judah and I wrestled, slamming me (eye 1st) into the hardwood floors.  Wish we had a better story.  It wasn't even the big kid.

We celebrated 2 birthdays in March, Judah (see previous party post) and Hannah.  The FABULOUS hammock chair was 1 of 3 AMAZING gifts :)  (Also given:  the laptop this post was typed on, and a kid free night at the Westin!!  Jason outdid himself this year!)
