PARTY #4 - BETHLEHEM REVISITED!!

Camels!  Chickens!  SHEEP!
We bundled up for our 5th ANNUAL trip to Bethlehem Revisited (it's hard to believe this is Jason and Hannah's 5th Christmas season together!).  Downtown Waxahachie is magical this time of year, and Central Presbyterian Church does an amazing job recreating the night of Christ's birth.  After touring the town with our good friends, we closed down the Chisolm Grill for dinner.  Our restaurant choice was also a special coincidence, as it was the first date location for 2 of the 4 couples (including Jason and Hannah).

PARTY #3 - GRADUATE ADMISSIONS CHRISTMAS PARTY

What a BLESSING!  Hannah's office had their annual Christmas celebration last Friday - this collection of crazies cannot be matched in their laughter, sweet spirit, and love.  Outside of blood, there is not a group of friends more precious to Hannah than her co-workers!

Caramel apple cider!!  Sides and sweets!  Christmas trivia!  And a little crowd pressure motivated baby Audrey to take 8 full steps!!!

PARTY #2 - COLLEGE CHRISTMAS FEST

FBC Irving hosted part 1 of our 2-fold College Christmas celebration last Wednesday.  Following the service, we changed into our obnoxious woollies and cleared the tables for the Ugly Sweater and Dessert Contests!  We overdosed on sugar and played games all night.  This season is getting off to a great start :)

PARTY #1 - CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING!

We celebrated our first official Christmas party of 2009 - and Hannah's FAVORITE DBU event!          Following the Faculty/Staff Dinner at Dallas Baptist University, we joined the students outside for hot chocolate, Christmas carols, and the countdown to the SPECTACULAR lighting of the campus!!!

The season has officially arrived :)  Thank you, 103.7 fm, for your continuous Christmas car tunes...and thank you, Hobby Lobby, for your 50% discounted Christmas decorations...and DBU, thank you for spreading the Christmas spirit as early as November 30.

WEDDING MARCH

Our good friends, Daniel and Courtney, tied the knot Saturday afternoon.  The ceremony was held at beautiful Lake Whitney, with a great reception following.  Jason served as groomsman, but even a stiff tux didn't deter our country boy from having a little rock chucking contest before pictures.

THANKSGIVING

GOBBLE!  GOBBLE!
We had a GREAT TIME with the Hatches at Grandma's ranch over Thanksgiving!  There were 3 additions since last year's meeting...2 new babies and a future bride!
Everyone has a sufficiently full freezer for the upcoming year, and each afghan/sock animal project turned out beautifully.  The dessert table remained Hannah's favorite (with the corn casserole running a close 2nd), and Jason successfully spent an equal amount of time outdoors as he did inside.
