CHRISTMAS in IRVING (part ii)

Finally, Christmas Day! Judah's special presents this year...his 1st Bible :) (hugs for the Bible below), and a Sit'n Spin! Classic. And one of those dollar bin vibrating microphones. He LOVES to hear himself (like ALL babies...a tad narcissistic). Reading the Christmas story is also a treat with Judah around; we decided to opt for a version of Jesus's birth geared toward kids, with sparkling pictures and rhyming words :) With Jason breaking into a rap halfway through the story, and Judah pointing out the different Christmas characters during his dialogue...it became a bit "Christmas from the hood on tourette's" :)

CHRISTMAS in IRVING (part i)

Whoo hoo!  Christmas is so fun with a kid :) We have a ton of pictures from our 2nd Christmas with the family in Memphis, so we'll keep this brief...

First, there was a Christmas dance party :)

Then, Christmas cookies :)

SANDBOX

Jason made Judah a sandbox out of an old fishing boat!!  Not only is it fun (and dirty), it's ADORABLE!

Judah's trademark growl...

discovering the feel of sand between his toes...

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

WONDERFUL Thanksgiving with WONDERFUL family :)  Five years ago the men would hunt while the women cooked, talked, and sewed...it was peaceful...festive but calm.  Now, with 4 boys between 20 months and 3 years, and 1 (very helpful) 6 year old girl, Thanksgiving is DEFINITELY festive but the calm is long gone :)  But we're happy to lose a little quiet to gain a growing family :) The final number this year...19 holiday guests at the ranch!

Judah LOVES Lily!  He followed her all over the house, holding her hand, hugging and giving kisses...he even became a little territorial when the other cousins tried to play with her :)  He also learned to spit (see video below) after eating a fair amount of dirt.  SO much fun :)

MAGICAL TENT...

We created the most magical tent in our living room...complete with Christmas lights :)  It was built for "Judah" (even if Hannah spent more time inside) and stayed up for 6 days :)
