Even the hours of driving were relaxing. We started with camping through record low temperatures in Cloud Croft, climbed the Florida Mountains, slid down White Sands, explored Carlsbad Caverns, the Cliff Dwellings, and Hot Springs, then finished with an anniversary celebration at Inn of the Mountain Gods in Ruidoso! We missed the Hatch Chili Festival, which apparently supports the otherwise desolate town of Hatch :) A wonderful adventure! :)
